The Pups

Scroll down and you'll find the pups listed in order of appearance. (:
As is common, we used colored collars for identification.

But, since these little lion hunters were born in the 48th state, they were granted Texas-themed nicknames.

Well...all but numero uno.

I certainly won't be able to express how lovable these little guys are or how their personalities shine in writing. But here's a little info on each...

#1 - Black Collar - "OG"

Cinnamon isn't an official Ridgeback color, but if it was OG would claim it! He has a small chest blaze, was born the smallest male of the litter, but caught up with the others quickly. He is smart, lovable, and soooo handsome.

His nickname of OG is has nothing to do with Texas history, it just happened naturally in the excitement of the moment!
First litter, first born: there was a lot going on, to say the least.

UPDATE! #2 - Yellow Collar - "Lello" has found her new home in Austin, Texas!

Second up came Miss Amarillo (yellow)...or Lello, for short. She has a big blaze on her chest. And though still the smallest in the litter, she is just delightful! But don't be fooled: this little girl can hold her own with her siblings! Now she'll be living with a cute Boxer! She did great on the ride down, sleeping all the way!

#3 - Dark Blue Collar - "Padre"

Third up is the handsome Padre. He has an adorable face you'll instantly fall for. Techically, the the water around the island may not always be true blue. But Padre will be always be true-blue loyal. He's a real lover.

#4 - Purple Collar - "Prince"

#4. One could guess this regal little fellow was named after a certain famous musician, for sure. But, Prince Carl too was internationally famous back in the day...way back in the day. If you squint your eyes and you might see a map of Germany as his blaze.

#5 - Red Collar - "Boerne"

#5. Boerne (pronounced "Bernie"), was a natural in his little red collar. Fiesty and so snuggable, this pup will steal your heart away.

UPDATE! #6 - Orange Collar - Angelo has found his new home in Hebbronville, TX.

#6. With a blaze of an angel on his chest, Angelo, was a given! He'll be both your cuddle buddy and your natural guardian. What more can you ask? He also did great on the car rider down. He is going to give his new family such love and care!

#7 - Pink Collar - "Mary Kay"

#7. Obviously, there was no better name associated with Texas for this sweet, 'pretty in pink' girl. She is as beautiful as can be (even without makeup). Low-key and lovable, she'll curl up for a nap with you anytime.

UPDATE: #8 - Dark Green Collar - "Tank" has found his home in Decator, TX!!

#8. The typical tank in Texas is often as green as can be, but that's not why Tank is called Tank. He was TWICE the size of the smallest in the litter and has the biggest puppy feet of all! But boy, is he a love bug. Black masked and black accent markings, he is just gorgeous. His new ower reported back: "He's everything I've ever wanted".

#9 - Silver Collar - "Bunker Hunt"

#9. This one will make a run on your heart, if you're not careful. He'll play like crazy one minute and fall into a heap of sweetness into your lap the next.

#10 - Lime Collar - Jack

#10. Cowboy Jack is incredibly sweet natured. And jusst like the rest of the litter, he is a cuddly bundle of love. Rough and tumble with love-boat eyes, he's ready to take his show on the road.

#11 - Light Blue - Frank Hamer

#11. Frankie Hamer is an awesome little fella. Sweet, curious, and strong as can be. He'll play and play and then, suddenly, you'll find him nestled in his kennel fast asleep. So precious!
